John Paul II’s boys played a tough Bethesda Academy team even for a half before fading to a 47-37 home loss Friday.
The Golden Warriors and Blazers were tied at 28 at halftime, but JPII went cold at the offensive end in the second half.
Austin McIntosh had 10 points and four rebounds, and Malone Kinard Huisinger added nine points and 10 boards to lead the Golden Warriors.
