John Paul II’s girls remained undefeated with a convincing 44-28 home win over Colleton Prep to open region play Friday.
After leading by just five at halftime, the Golden Warriors pulled away in the second half.
Tkai DeVore led the way with 19 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, four blocks, and five steals. Jasmine Hamilton added 10 points for the Golden Warriors, and Jasmine Sanchez made a big contribution with eight points and nine rebounds.
