May River’s girls went 1-2 at the Savannah Holiday Classic over the weekend, losing to Johnson and Woodville-Tompkins before closing the tournament with a win over South Effingham on Saturday.
The Sharks opened the tournament with a 51-30 loss to Georgia Class 3A power Johnson on Thursday. Chynna Sneed scored 10 points, and Jordan Bigham added eight to lead May River.

Sneed scored 14 points and Olivia Peluso added eight in a 46-38 loss to Woodville-Tompkins on Friday, before bouncing back with a 66-45 win over South Effingham on Saturday.
Emma Peluso and Gracyn Drury each scored 14 points, and Olivia Peluso added 11 to lead the Sharks in the win.
