John Paul II’s girls kept on rolling Friday night, fending off a strong Palmetto Christian team 47-35 on the road to remain unbeaten after nine contests.
Tkai DeVore continued her stellar start to the season with 21 points, 16 rebounds, four blocks, three steals, and three assists to lead JPII. Jasmine Hamilton, Abby Quinty, and Jazmine Sanchez all added six points, and Bella Termini scored five.
“Once again, defense was a huge factor,” JPII coach Karen Floyd said. “The girls are doing a great job of seeing each other, and it’s making for very fun basketball.”
