John Paul II’s wrestling team opened its season with a pair of dual victories Tuesday night in Walterboro.
The Golden Warriors edged Military Magnet 39-36 and routed host Colleton Prep 42-18 to start the season on a high note.
Peter Torinese (113), Jack Brock (120), Steven Schidrich (126), Jonathan Field (152), Luke Burton (160), and Kohl Woodham (170) were standouts on the mat for JPII.
