HSGBB: JPII hangs on for hard-fought road win

John Paul II’s girls survived a tough road test Monday, pulling away late for a 61-48 win over Andrew Jackson Academy to remain undefeated. 

Tkai DeVore led the charge with 25 points, five rebounds, six assists, and nine steals, and Jasmine Hamilton also had a big game for the Golden Warriors with 12 points, three rebounds, and five assists. Abby Quinty had seven points and five boards,  Taylor Michael pitched in seven points, Katie Leigh Floyd dished out six assists, and Caroline Gilmour pulled down six rebounds.

JPII (7-0) hosts First Presbyterian at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
