May River standout Harry Cash was named one of the preseason top five Class 3A boys by the S.C. Basketball Coaches Association.
Cash was the only area player recognized, and no local teams cracked the top 10 in the preseason poll.
A senior forward, Cash was a first-team All-Lowco selection last season after leading the Sharks in scoring (14.2 points) and rebounding (8.8 rebounds).
