Thomas Heyward notched back-to-back victories this week, knocking off visiting Holy Trinity on Tuesday and winning at Pinewood Prep on Wednesday.
The Rebels rolled to a 3-0 (25-7, 25-15, 25-9) win over Holy Trinity, as THA had a strong night at the service line. Brooklyn Guardino was 15-of-15 with eight aces and added three kills, while Gracie Wade went 10-for-11 serving with three aces and a team-high nine kills, and Keleigh Bowers was 16-for-17 with six aces and six kills. Amelia Bonds handed out 14 assists, and Bayli Belger added nine.
THA dropped the opening game at Pinewood Prep but rallied for a 3-1 (18-25, 25-22, 25-12, 25-19) victory in the non-region match.
Guardino had another solid match with nine kills and 12 digs, while Wade added nine kills and seven digs, and Bowers was 17-of-19 serving with four aces, six kills, and 18 digs. Sydney Butler was 14-for-14 at the service line with four aces, five kills, and 12 digs, Abby Bennett had nine digs, and Bonds contributed nine assists.
The Rebels host Colleton Prep on Thursday.
