John Paul II girls tennis lost 9-0 to visiting Colleton Prep on Tuesday.
Despite being swept, Golden Warriors coach Ed Neal was encouraged by his team’s play.
“Most matches were much closer than the scores indicated, as many games were long and competitive,” Neal said. “The Warriors are learning and showing improvement in each match.”
JPII (0-4) hosts May River on Thursday.
