Colleton Prep scored 20 unanswered points to send Hilton Head Prep to a 20-7 home defeat on Friday.
The Dolphins opened the scoring on Sam Liberatore’s 26-yard touchdown pass to Harrison Green, but the Warhawks shut out Hilton Head Prep the rest of the way and rallied after trailing 7-6 at halftime.
Liberatore was 11-for-18 for 106 yards with one touchdown and one interception in his second start in place of Stone McDonald (broken nose). Liberatore connected with Green four times for 60 yards and the score, and Carson King led the Dolphins with 36 rushing yards on five carries to go with three receptions for 24 yards.
Bradbury Kiser collected 15 tackles and Will Gray added eight to lead the Dolphins on defense.
HHP (1-1) is off next week before hosting Thomas Heyward on Sept. 13.
