The Beaufort County All-Stars claimed another lopsided win Monday, beating Huntington, Texas, 13-3 in five innings to stay alive in the Dixie Junior Boys (13U) World Series in Aiken.
Beaufort County banged out 15 hits, including two apiece from Kyler McKeever, Logan Brutcher, Hudson Mullen, Owen Harwell, Kevin Brown, and Jadyn Andrews. Mullen and Carter Zareva each drove in three runs, and Harwell added two RBIs.
Mullen went the distance on the mound for Beaufort County, allowing three unearned runs and four hits with four strikeouts.
Beaufort County will face Hattiesburg, Mississippi, at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the winner playing another elimination game at 7 p.m.
