May River’s boys scored an own goal in overtime to send the Sharks to a 4-3 loss to Socastee on Thursday.
Mikey Chappelear, Conner Golden, and Joel Fleek each scored a goal for the Sharks, and Matthew Turner made five saves.
May River (12-3-1) hosts Hilton Head High at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
