Jayla Quick scored the winning run on Sydnee Poliquin’s single in the bottom of the seventh, giving Bluffton a 13-12 win and a three-game sweep of Hilton Head High on Friday.
The Bobcats scored three runs in the seventh to cap a wild game after the Seahawks had racked up nine runs in the previous three innings to take the lead.
Poliquin was 4-for-5, and Chandler Nix was 3-for-4 with an inside-the-park homer to lead the Bobcats at the plate.
Reagan Marchant was 2-for-3 with a homer for the Seahawks.
The Bobcats (5-4 Region 7-4A) wrapped up the No. 2 seed from Region 7-4A by virtue of the win and Beaufort High’s loss to Colleton County. The Seahawks (6-12, 0-9) finished fourth in the region standings.
