Hilton Head Prep’s girls lost a close game Tuesday, falling 2-1 to Savannah Country Day.
Savannah Country Day scored the only goal of the first half, but HHP was quick to answer in the second half when Ryan Dailey scored off of a pass from Sadie Callen to tie the score at 1.
SCD scored the game-winner in the final minute of the game to secure the win.
Caitlin Heidel recorded 14 saves in goal for the Dolphins.
HHP (7-2-1, 3-0) travels to Beaufort Academy (1-3, 1-1) at 4 p.m. Wednesday. The last time the teams met, Prep won 9-1.
