Hilton Head Prep rolled to a 15-0 win over visiting Memorial Day on Tuesday.
Torin Hrobar struck out five and allowed one hit and one walk in a three-inning complete game for the Dolphins. Gage Hurlbut was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs, and three RBIs, and Tommy Stauffer went 2-for-3 with a double and scored twice to lead HHP at the plate.
“Really happy for Torin, who got his first varsity start on the hill today and it was clutch for him to eat innings for us,” HHP coach Chris Wells said. “He wasn’t as sharp as usual but went the distance and got the W.”
The Dolphins (5-1) host John Paul II on Wednesday.
