May River lost to a hot-hitting Colleton County team Thursday, falling 14-3 in five innings at home.
Jack Hegan was 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and an RBI, and Kamryn Gleason was 1-for-3 with an RBI to provide all the offense for the Sharks.
Gleason took the loss on the mound, allowing six runs over two innings.
The Sharks (1-3) host Hilton Head High on Monday.
