HS Baseball: HHP Run-Rules Coastal Again

For the second time in three days, Hilton Head Prep’s baseball team claimed a run-rule win over Coastal Homeschool, winning 14-4 in five innings on Thursday.

Gage Hurlbut was 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles, three runs, and four RBIs, and Jaiden Hrobar was 2-for-2 with two walks and scored four runs to lead the Dolphins’ offense.

Connor McDonnell allowed three runs and two hits over four innings with nine strikeouts to earn the win.

“We played a much cleaner game tonight,” HHP coach Chris Wells said. “Pitching, defense and bats were all strong.  Connor was dealing on the mound, while our offensive attack was lead by Gage and Jaiden. Really proud of the fellas tonight.”

HHP (2-0) hosts Peachtree Academy on Saturday.
