HS Soccer: JPII Boys Can’t Capitalize On 2nd-Half Chances

John Paul II’s boys suffered a 3-2 loss at Calvary Day on Thursday in Savannah. 

The Golden Warriors trailed 3-2 at halftime and were unable to capitalize on several scoring chances in the second half. Sebastian Laverde scored a goal and assisted on Jonathan Barragan’s goal for JPII. 

Evan Slusne made nine saves in goal for the Golden Warriors. 

JPII (1-2-1) travels to Palmetto Christian on Friday.
