USCB Softball Stays Undefeated With Two More Shutouts

USCB’s softball team posted two more shutouts Friday, beating visiting Brewton-Parker 4-0 and 8-0. 

Sloan Ducey struck out 10 and allowed one hit and one walk in a 4-0 win in the opener, as Shania Domingue and Kaitlyn O’Hearn each drove in two runs. 

Abby Pac struck out five and hit one batter over four hitless innings and Kinsey Sords gave up one hit in a scoreless fifth in an 8-0 win in game 2. Kayla Boyle, Taylor Boykin, and Natassja Hatcher each had two hits and an RBI, and Kaleigh Furbush drove in two runs.

The Sand Sharks (8-0) have posted six shutouts in their first eight games. USCB hosts Columbia International for a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday.
