HSBB: JPII Girls At Their Best In Win Over THA

John Paul II’s girls turned in one of their best performances of the season in a 57-29 home win over rival Thomas Heyward on Tuesday.

“We responded well to the pressure and aggressively attacked the basket,” JPII coach Karen Floyd said. “We are playing hard and having fun.”

Tkai Devore collected 26 points, six rebounds, and five steals to lead a strong all-around effort for the Golden Warriors. Mary Foster Galliard had a monster game inside with eight points, 16 rebounds, and four assists, and Jasmine Hamilton added 11 points and four rebounds.

JPII (12-4, 4-0) travels to St. Andrew’s on Wednesday.
