May River’s girls will play for the championship Saturday in the Memorial Health Holiday Classic in Savannah.
The Sharks advanced to the championship game with a 52-30 win over Jenkins on Friday behind 18 points from Chynna Sneed. Emma Peluso, Jordan Ross, Gracyn Drury, and Lindsey Olds each added six points.
May River beat Savannah High 41-31 in Thursday’s first round. Jordan Bigham led the way with 10 points, while Sneed added nine, Peluso had eight, and Drury and Olds contributed six apiece.
May River (7-3) faces Richmond Hill in the championship game at 4 p.m. Saturday.
