Beaufort Academy’s girls opened the school’s newly-renovated gym with a 61-14 rout of visiting Faith Christian on Monday.
Amelia Huebel scored eight points in the first 90 seconds of the game, and the Eagles rolled from there. All nine players on the roster scored for BA with Mary Hanna Hiers leading the way with 16 points. Huebel added 12, Maeve Kalady scored 10, and Emily Ann Hiers contributed eight.
BA (2-1) travels to Lowcountry Prep on Tuesday.
