John Paul II’s girls claimed their own tournament title with a 49-33 win over Beaufort Academy on Friday.
Tkai DeVore had a huge night with 27 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Golden Warriors and earn tournament Most Outstanding Player honors. Abby Quinty and Jazmine Sanchez added five points apiece for JPII, and Mary Foster Galliard joined DeVore on the All-Tournament Team.
Amelia Huebel led BA with 20 points and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
JPII (3-0) hosts Palmetto Christian Academy on Monday, while BA (1-1) hosts Faith Christian.
