Hilton Head Prep came up just short on the road Friday, falling 29-20 at Bethesda Academy.
Stone McDonald was 9-of-24 for 155 yards and two touchdowns and added 70 yards and a TD on seven carries for the Dolphins.
Hunter Hopman rushed for 64 yards on eight carries and caught five passes for 70 yards, and Tommy Stauffer and Ben Pellicci caught touchdown passes.
McDonald also had two interceptions and Hopman added one on defense to help the Dolphins stay in it. Prep twice pulled within two in the second half, but the Blazers answered each time.
Hilton Head Prep (1-5, 0-1) hosts Dorchester Academy in a non-region game next Friday.
