Beaufort Academy volleyball swept visiting Thomas Heyward 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-21) in a region match Thursday.
Setter EmilyAnn Hiers had a big night for the Eagles, dishing out 39 assists and spreading the action around to several hitters. Amelia Huebel led the team with 12 kills and added eight digs, while Alyssa Patrick had a team-high 16 digs and eight kills. Gracie Cope contributed eight kills and nine digs, and Emma Hincher added six kills, 13 digs, and eight assists.
BA hosts Cathedral Academy at 6 p.m. Tuesday. THA travels to Hilton Head Prep at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
