Hilton Head High volleyball opened the season with a split of a tri-match in Savannah on Tuesday.
The Seahawks swept host Savannah Country Day 2-0 (25-14, 25-20) and lost a tough 2-1 (9-25, 25-23, 28-26) decision to Glynn Academy.
Hilton Head High collected a total of 29 aces in the two matches.
The Seahawks (1-1) travel to the Nation Ford Invitational in Fort Mill on Saturday.
