HS Soccer: Lions, Golden Warriors Head All-Region Girls Soccer

John Paul II and Holy Trinity each placed four players on the SCISA Region 2-1A all-region girls soccer team, and their coaches shared Coach of the Year honors.

John Paul II’s Brian Quinty and Holy Trinity’s Ashley Bozard were voted Co-Coaches of the Year by their peers, and each squad had four representatives on the 15-player all-region squad. Holy Trinity freshman forward Mills Langehans was named the region Player of the Year. Beaufort Academy had two players honored.

Region 2-1A accounts for three of the four teams who qualified for the SCISA Class 1A playoffs. Holy Trinity will host Beaufort Academy and John Paul II will travel to Cambridge Academy in first-round matchups Tuesday.
