Hilton Head High edged Beaufort High by six shots to win the Region 8-4A Tournament on Monday at Palmetto Hall’s Arthur Hills Course.
Individual medalist Harrison Mancill shot 6-over-par 78 to lead the Seahawks (328). Tyler Kriney (82), Derek Bunce (84), and Nolan Hawkins (84) also made the all-region team for Hilton Head. Charlie Farrell (89) rounded out the scoring.
Beaufort (334) finished second to claim a spot in the Lower State qualifier next Monday at Port Royal’s Barony Course. Individual runner-up Tommy Holloway (81) led the Eagles along with all-region selections Max Kase (82), and Riley Kase (85). Jerry Bruns (86) and Jack Sumner (94) rounded out the Eagles’ lineup.
