Legacy Christian Academy opened the S.C. Association of Christian Schools playoffs with a 14-4 win over Fountain Inn Christian on Friday.
Isabel Cannon struck out 14 in a complete game and went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI to lead Legacy Christian.
Hannah Stanley and Skylar Kesselring each had two hits and an RBI, Rhia Burnette added two hits, and Julia Barker drove in two runs.
Legacy Christian (10-3) continues the state tournament next Friday at 3 p.m. at Ace Basin Sports Complex in Walterboro.
