HS Soccer: Heidel, Dailey Step Up To Lead Short-Handed HHP Girls

A short-handed Hilton Head Prep girls team claimed a key region win Tuesday, winning 4-0 at St. Andrew’s.

The Dolphins had only one sub available and had many players out of position, but they were able to maintain control of the match thanks to Caitlin Heidel’s 25 saves in her eighth shutout of the season.

Ryan Dailey pushed up to play striker in place of injured starter Charlotte Covington and netted a hat trick as well as an assist. Ella Clark had a goal and an assist, and Erika Moradel added an assist for the Dolphins.

HHP (8-3-1, 4-0) hosts Frederica Academy at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
