John Paul II swept a doubleheader from First Presbyterian on Saturday, winning 4-3 and 7-1.
Jack Jolley had two hits and drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Golden Warriors to a 4-3 win in the opener. Thomas Kender earned the win on the mound.
Jolley stayed hot in game 2 with two hits and two runs. Brad Tigges also scored two runs and had two RBIs. Adrian Skipper scattered five hit while striking out eight for the win.
JPII (9-7) travels to Colleton Prep at 6 p.m. Thursday for a region game.
