May River baseball completed a three-game sweep of Region 8-3A opponent Battery Creek with a 16-3 win Friday.
Kamryn Gleason picked up the win, allowing one unearned run and four walks over five no-hit innings. He struck out four. Logan Wake struck out five and walked one over two innings of relief, allowing two unearned runs and two hits.
Jeffrey Hodge had a double and three RBIs, Jack Hegan was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and Josh Reddy had two hits and two RBIs to lead the Sharks at the plate.
Cody Lanning drove in two runs for the Dolphins.
May River (10-2, 5-1) hosts Beaufort High for a non-region game at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Battery Creek begins a three-game region series against Ridgeland-Hardeeville on the road at 7 p.m. Monday.
