HS Baseball: May River Rolls To Another Win

May River baseball picked up another win Thursday, beating visiting Woodberry Forest (Va.) 10-2.

Kamryn Gleason went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and four RBIs to lead the offense, while Jeffrey Hodge and Cooper George each had two hits and an RBI.

Nick Bass earned the win, allowing one run and three hits over 5 1/3 innings with five strikeouts and two walks.

The Sharks (5-1) open region play with a three-game series against rival Bluffton next week. The first game of the set is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at May River.
