May River’s boys’ lacrosse team battled to a 7-5 win over visiting James Island on Saturday.
Jon Boan recorded two goals and two assists, CJ Wajszczuk added two goals, and Hudson Kramer had a goal and two assists to lead the Sharks’ attack. Luke Boan added a goal and an assist, and Braydon Sokolowski scored a goal.
Sean Morris made 12 saves and Harrison Rogers scooped six ground balls to lead the defensive effort for May River.
The Sharks (3-2) host Island High at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
