Palmetto Christian’s Cole Silvester hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat Hilton Head Prep’s boys 83-81 in overtime Friday in a matchup of undefeated teams.
The Dolphins rallied from a 43-34 halftime deficit to force overtime and led 81-80 with time winding down when Silvester banked in a shot from the top of the key at the buzzer to hand Prep its first loss.
Haddith Stewart led the Dolphins with 23 points, while Ian Plummer scored 20 and Tyrone Calloway added 16. Avern Montaque, who was in foul trouble all night, and Stone McDonald each grabbed nine rebounds.
The Dolphins (7-1) are off until Jan. 2, when they travel to Savannah Country Day.
