HSBB: Montaque’s Double-Double Helps Prep Boys Stay Unbeaten

Hilton Head Prep’s boys basketball team overcame a sluggish start to rally for a 63-43 win at Frederica Academy on Tuesday.

The Dolphins trailed 16-15 after one quarter before pulling away to a 41-20 halftime advantage.

Avern Montaque had 20 points and 12 rebounds and Tyler Rice added 10 points off the bench to lead the Dolphins.

HHP (4-0) plays its next two games at home, hosting Memorial Day on Friday and Savannah Country Day on Saturday.
