Darien Watkins had another hot shooting night to lead Beaufort High’s girls basketball team to a 59-17 win at Whale Branch on Friday.
Watkins hit seven 3-pointers for the second straight game and finished with 23 points to lead the Eagles. Essence Champion added 10 points for Beaufort.
The Eagles (3-1) host May River on Saturday. The Warriors (0-2) host Phillip Simmons on Tuesday.
