Rashmel Butler had a huge game to lead the Ridgeland-Hardeeville boys basketball team to a 75-45 rout of South Effingham on Saturday at the Southside Classic Tournament in Savannah.
Butler poured in 28 points to go with five assists, four rebounds and three steals as the Jaguars improved to 2-0.
Devin Butler added 11 points, three assists and two steals, Jertaveon Smalls scored 10 points and swiped four steals, and Damonte Robinson contributed nine points, three assists and three steals for the Jaguars.
South Effingham won the girls game 61-43, dropping the Jaguars to 0-2.
The Jaguars’ next game is at home against Colleton County on Dec. 1.
