HSFB: BA Blows Out Cathedral, Clinches Home Playoff Game

De’Shaun Epps rushed for 451 yards and five touchdowns and Jaxon Spratling added 168 yards and two scores on the ground as Beaufort Academy routed Cathedral Academy 78-50 to lock up a home playoff game.

Edward McCormick added two touchdown runs to go with a team-high 15 tackles, and Daniel Richards had five tackles and a key interception for the Eagles.

The win vaulted Beaufort Academy (4-5, 2-2) to the No. 2 seed from SCISA 8-Man I Region 1. The Eagles will host Holly Hill Academy in the first round of the playoffs next week.
