The Dixie Boys and Dixie Junior Boys World Series tournaments are coming to Bluffton, and Beaufort County Parks & Leisure Services is seeking volunteers to help support the series.
The tournaments will be played at Oscar Frazier Park and M.C. Riley Sports Complex in Bluffton from Aug. 4-9. Volunteers are needed for numerous areas including scorekeeping, announcing, and T-shirt sales, and tournament organizers also are seeking vocalists to sing the national anthem.
Volunteers are needed for 2 1/2- and 3-hour time slots at both locations at the following times:
• Aug. 5-6: 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m., both parks
• Aug. 7: 9 a.m., 12 p.m., both parks; 4 p.m., 7 p.m., Oscar Frazier Park
• Aug. 8: 4 p.m., 7 p.m., Oscar Frazier Park
• Aug. 9: 10 a.m., Oscar Frazier Park
