The Beaufort Ospreys dropped the first game of their second round series in the American Legion Baseball playoffs Wednesday night, losing 12-6 to visiting Horry Post 111 at Beaufort High School.
The second game of the best-of-5 series is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight at Beaufort High. Horry will host game 3 on Friday and game 4, if necessary, on Saturday. If the series goes to a fifth game, it will be played at Beaufort High on Sunday.
The winner of the series advances to the state tournament in Sumter beginning July 22.
