In the first installment of our special Black History Month interview series, LowcoSports.com’s Justin Jarrett and Wes Kerr welcome legendary Beaufort High School track coach and community pillar Herbert Glaze to discuss his journey and experience as a Black man and mentor to youth in South Carolina in a special edition of the Lowco Sitdown.
Glaze has coached the BHS girls track team for four decades, including 10 state championship teams, helped dozens of student-athletes earn college scholarships, and served 20 years on Beaufort County Council, among other civic engagements.
