Swimmers from Hilton Head Aquatics and the Bluffton Fins swim team racked up the wins Saturday at the H2A Season Kickoff at the Island Rec Center.
H2A’s Sterling Burd and Jack Summa were the biggest winners of the day, each claiming seven events. Burd won the 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 1K free, 200 back, 100 fly, and 200 fly in the girls 15-and-over division, while Summa claimed the 8-and-under boys titles in the 50 free, 100 free, 25 back, 50 back, 50 breast, 25 fly, and 50 fly.
H2A teammates Eli Summa (13-14 girls) and Peter Fenstermaker (9-10 boys) each won five events, and Cohen Bruner (15+ boys) and Colton Roberts (11-12 boys) won four apiece.
A pair of Fins picked up three wins each — Shelby Gourley (15+ girls) and Jacob Lally (13-14 boys) — as did H2A’s Aubrey Porada (11-12 girls), Wes Lucas (11-12 boys), and Tommy Hughson (15+ boys).
H2A’s Cadence Smith (9-10 girls) and Fins’ Addy Gourley (13-14 girls), Sofia Heidacher (13-14 girls), and William Walsh (9-10 boys) each won two events.
