Hilton Head Christian Academy’s girls continued its dominant run through region play with a 61-28 road win over John Paul II on Tuesday.
Jasmine Campbell had a huge night for the Eagles with 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Dior Shelton and Mary Yanker added 13 points apiece, and Abby Peduzzi had seven.
The Eagles amassed a 32-8 halftime lead with a dominant defensive performance led by Shelton, who held JPII star Tkai DeVore to one field goal in the first half.
DeVore heated up in the second half and finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals, while Jasmine Hamilton and Abby Quinty each added six points for JPII.
