Beaufort High’s girls got off to a quick start and held on for a hard-fought 39-36 road win over rival Battery Creek on Saturday.
Layla Warren poured in 23 points and Sequioa Smalls returned from first-half foul trouble to score all eight of her points in the second half to help the Eagles secure the non-region win.

Starr Reed and Trezure Siplin each had nine points, and Nani Singleton added seven for the Dolphins.
