Hilton Head High’s girls cruised to a 52-32 road win at New Hampstead (Ga.) on Monday.
Janiya Ferebee poured in a career-high 16 points, Miley Ray added 12, and Chyna Fields scored 10 to lead the Seahawks past the Phoenix.
“Overall, a pretty good team win with a lot of girls contributing,” HHIHS coach Sean Rochester said. “I’m really happy for Janiya having a career-high scoring. With her playing varsity as an eighth grader last year, you forget sometimes that she’s just a freshman but she’s really starting to show the potential that she has.”
