Beaufort High’s boys got a strong performance from the bench to get back in it after a slow start, but the Eagles fell short in a 68-41 home loss to Effingham County (Ga.) on Saturday.
Ben VanHise scored 10 points, CJ Smith added eight, and Davis Willis had six to lead the Eagles.
