Hilton Head Christian Academy picked up its first region victory with an 11-1 win over visiting John Paul II on Friday.
Daniel Harrington was 2-for-2 with three runs and two RBIs, Jake Richardson drove in three runs, and Jackson Lanier was 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI to lead the Eagles, who broke it open with an eight-run fourth inning.
Reese Malon struck out seven and limited the Golden Warriors to one unearned run and two hits in a five-inning complete game.
Colin Doering drove in the lone run for JPII.
HHCA (5-12, 1-7) hosts Coastal Homeschool on April 22. JPII (8-6, 3-4) was back in action Saturday, completing a suspended game against Hilton Head Prep.
