Bluffton’s girls handed Hilton Head High its first region loss with a 38-29 home victory Friday.
Tatyana Aiken led the Bobcats with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Aiken was 4-of-6 from the foul line, as the Bobcats finished 17-of-27 on free throws compared to the Seahawks’ 9-of-21.
Miley Ray led the Seahawks with 11 points.
HHIHS (11-13, 3-1) maintains a one-game lead over Bluffton and Beaufort with two region games remaining. The Seahawks host Beaufort on Tuesday. The Bobcats (8-9, 2-2) travel to Colleton County on Tuesday.
