May River’s wrestling team handed crosstown rival Bluffton a 66-14 defeat on Wednesday.
The Sharks picked up 11 wins by pin in their first dual of the season, as EJ Seman, Travis Tran, Chad Hadden, Patrick Treacy, Bennie Jenkins, Rodney Romero, Jaxon Meriwether, Kaleb Foullk, Terry Fields, Ryan Humel, and Kailin Prescott-Ferguson all recorded pins.
Daniel Ussery and Siris Liptak won by major decision and Gavin Watkis won by forfeit for the Bobcats.
The Sharks are back in action this weekend at the Cane Bay Duals. The Bobcats travel to the Effingham Rebel Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
